SHS Provides Health Supplies for the Community

On March 24, Stevenson donated health supplies, such as masks, gloves, toilet paper, and hand towels to local police and fire departments amidst the spread of COVID-19.

During Spring Break, it became apparent to health teacher Jill Lipman that students likely would not return to school. Soon after, she asked Eric Ramos, Stevenson’s Physical Welfare Director, to donate supplies that were being used in health classes to the community as facilities in need were running low.

Ramos then worked with Sean Carney, Assistant Superintendent for Business Services to make the donations. In total, Stevenson was able to donate 11 boxes of masks and 115 boxes of non-latex gloves. Stevenson also recently donated 3 cases of toilet paper and 3 cases of hand towels to a local assisted care facility.
